About me

My name is Jochen Hermann. I am a trained carpenter and have worked in a restoration company for many years. I also worked briefly in log cabin construction and as a boat builder. I took a course in sculpture because I have always been fascinated by the connection between wood and art. Wood is a special kind of material. Since time immemorial, the skill of the human hand in working with wood has developed, so much so that one can say: "The relationship with wood is part of human nature; the examination of wood as a material is a basic element of human body history as well as the history of human artistry." In my business, I want to give wood a second chance through recycling and restoration. With a role model for nature and the environment, 100% sustainable.
